Job Summary: A Grand Rapids manufacturer is hiring for a Brake Press Operator. Candidate will properly change tooling, ram position, ram speed and backstop position as needed, load laser cut parts into the brake press, and forming the blanks into complete parts. The Brake Press Operator will follow the bend sequence and part prints, read a part print and understand all form symbols and angles, and pull up forming programs from previous production.
Location: Grand Rapids, NE
Position Type: Full-time, evaluation hire
Pay: $ 14.00 -16.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st shift 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Monday-Friday
Qualifications: This position requires a mechanically inclined individual. Candidate must have a minimum of 1-3 years operation of a brake press in a manufacturing company. A history of excellent attendance and punctuality is required. Above par math, measurement and manual dexterity are essential to the success of this position. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required.
