Job Type: Part Time, Hourly Location: Atlanta, GA Department: Restaurant Reports to: General Manager Role Overview: Do you want to work in a fast-paced, beer-centric, customer-oriented environment? Can you remain calm and adaptable under pressure? Can you multi-task while maintaining attention to detail? If yes, New Realm Brewing Co. wants you to support our staff as a busser! We are a 400-seat restaurant/brewery directly adjacent to the Eastside BeltLine, just south of Ponce City Market. Our ideal candidate will be cooperative and collaborative, energetic and upbeat, self-motivated and disciplined. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that dining areas/tables are clean, plates and glassware are cleared in a timely fashion, and place-settings are refreshed and tables turned over in accordance with best practices. Duties and Responsibilities: * Be timely and dependable. * Ensure that all dining areas are clean and appropriately outfitted and are cleared/reset quickly and correctly after each turnover. * Support servers in their duties. * Maintain a safe and secure work environment. * Perform opening/closing tasks and sidework duties as a self-starter. * Consistently meet all best practice standards set in employee handbook and during training. Education and Experience: * Secondary-level education required. * Some experience in a restaurant or other customer service setting. Skills and Abilities: * Ability to work under pressure, calmly but with a sense of urgency. * Proficiency in written and verbal communication. * Ability to work a variable schedule, potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to work as a team player, maintaining open and honest communication with colleagues and management. * Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs. * Ability to frequently navigate heavily-trafficked stairs, with potentially heavy loads.
