We are looking for an individual with a strong desire to succeed, the ability to develop lasting relationships, and the skills to close sales through a consultative sales approach. VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST (Customer Service Representative) POSITION DESCRIPTION Under general direction, the CSR is responsible for customer service inside the store, as well as prospect sales. If there is not a separate individual hired for the marketing role, then it is assumed that the CSR will handle and execute the marketing programs. RESPONSIBILITIES * Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in and telephone customers. * Respond to customer inquiries; use our selling solution to determine sign needs, provide sign recommendations and quotes, and assist customers with the order process. * Process customer orders. Accurately complete Work Order; obtain customers approval and payment. * Enter accurate contact information into database for future follow up. * Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-construction by accurately creating, reading and communicating Work Order details and later proofing sign for errors or unacceptable standards (i.e., bubbles, ragged edges, and loose seams). * Contact customers when the estimate is ready, proof is ready, order is ready, when delays or errors occur, or when payment is late, to ensure that they are satisfied after the job has been picked up/delivered, etc. * Assure customer satisfaction. Contact customer within 3-5 days of order to confirm customer satisfaction. If dissatisfied, determine concern and present solutions. * Obtain referrals; determine contact name and phone number and provide follow-up. * Execute a variety of marketing functions: In-store database mailings based on targeted POS lists, thank you cards 5-7 days after order is picked up, prospect via phone for new customers by generating prospect lists, implementing a call-mail-call program, distributing press releases regarding store activities, executing FASTMAIL campaigns, etc. * Maintain an attractive retail environment (clean, organized and functional). * Support store manager as needed with reports, close-out, invoices, and daily, weekly and monthly paperwork. WORKING CONDITIONS * Working conditions are normal for an office and a light manufacturing environment. Report to franchise partner or center manager. * Work may require occasional overnight travel, weekend and/or evenings.
