You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment * Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc * Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs * Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications * Technical degree preferred * ASE certifications preferred * Minimum of 1 year in service department * High School Diploma or GED * Ability to identify the problem quickly * Effective analytical and communication skills * Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills * Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications * Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Ability to lift 50 pounds * Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Basic Computer Skills * Positive, friendly attitude
