Pre-K/K/Developmental Tutor - Part Time

Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who can capture the imagination of pre-school children, hold their attention, and be a partner in discovery so they are ready to take on advanced challenges in school. Job Overview: Tutor -- Part-Time RESPONSIBILITIES * Report on-time to the families home according to a mutually agreed-upon schedule. * Develop communication and language skills of pre-K and elementary school students and pursue interests in other academic areas. * Be able to provide a short written (emailed) report to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Experience in the education field or industry * Experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields * Experience administering lesson plans * A personality suited for different types of students * Reliable transportation with current car insurance * Access to the internet and a smartphone COMPENSATION $20 and up, depending on experience
