Chef Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Tel Hai is looking for a Chef Manager to work within our Culinary Services Department. This person will be responsible for the hands on training and overseeing of the proper preparation and service of all food items using standardized recipes, established cooking methods and production sheets whileusing safe food handling guidelines. Must be committed to the preparation of quality food products and ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. As part of this team the Chef Manager will supervise the food production process including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation. Will supervise and orient new team members in production areas. Responsibilities will also include developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met. Will participate in the planning and execution of special events. Minimum 1 year Chef and Management experience required.
