Description Greets all customers, clients, outpatients, and visitors physically or on the telephone. Enters orders, charges, credits, and cancellations using HIS or LIS. Processes and maintains laboratory records and reports. Receives and processes specimens; distributing them to appropriate departments. Audits/reconciles journals and invoices. Performs phlebotomy procedures, including skin tests, at Mother Frances Hospital and HealthSouth. Maintains supply inventory. Maintains printers, copier, and fax machine. Requirements - High School diploma or GED - Completed of 6 week Accredited Clinical Phlebotomy training program - 1 year of experience can be substituted for the 6-week certified clinical training program - Excellent customer service skills
