Our client is noted as a well established steel company located in Chicago Heights, Illinois, and is seeking outstanding people to join their team. Seeking a Side Loader, also known as HUBTEX, with solid work history, and extensive experience.
Responsibilities:
Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as side loader or lift truck.
Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
Inspect product load for accuracy, and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling or replacing liquefied-gas tank.

Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 1-2 years experience as a side loader or lift truck operator
Attentive to detail is important
Ability to Lift/Bend/Walk/Stand for long periods of time
Understand the value of Safety
Leading to a permanent position
2nd shift shift available
Pay rate is $11-13 based on experience
