Culinary Professional

Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne has an opportunity for an experienced Cook. The purpose of this position is to provide food services to residents in a friendly and efficient manner, to ensure compliance with food quality and safety requirements and regulations and to operate and maintain a safe, sanitary food preparation environment in compliance with Kingston policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines. ?

• Must be a graduate of an accredited high school or have the equivalent of a high school diploma (G.E.D. Certificate).               
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook in a large-scale food service operation desirable, preferably in a supervisory capacity and health care setting.
• Must be able to speak, write and understand English.                  
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds regularly.                                                
• Must possess a positive attitude toward the elderly.
