The Accounts Receivable Specialist position will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable. This is a full-time, permanent position in our Corporate Headquarters (located in Atlanta).

The Accounts Receivable Specialist position will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable. This is a full-time, permanent position in our Corporate Headquarters (located in Atlanta).
Responsibilities
- Post payments received daily against client invoices
- Research credit balances on client accounts for all entities and issues raised by customers related to their accounts
- Provide bi-weekly A/R aging reports to management
- Reconcile A/R to the G/L monthly
- Work with Collections Analyst on requests
- Assist with month end closing and annual audit
- Perform analysis as requested by Accounting Manager, Controller, and Executive Team
- Other responsibilities and additional ad hoc requests as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, or a Finance or Economics degree required
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience
- Extremely detail oriented
- Experience with computerized accounting systems
- Integration of merged & acquired businesses is a plus
- Software industry experience is a plus
- Customer service orientation (both internal & external) and ability to successfully deal with questions and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with customers
- Absolute integrity and the use of good judgment to handle confidential nature of duties, tasks & information
- Outstanding management skills and ability to meet critical deadlines
