Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Line Operator for a Flooring Manufacturer in White, GA.
Job Summary:
o Line operators will be trained on 4 work stations: Unwinding machine, Coating table, winding machine and packaging.
Unwinding:
o The operator is responsible for the timely supply and placing of the perfect ground cloth (no damage) and the qualitative ironing or stitching of this cloth in order to ensure the continuity of the production process.
o The operator is also deployed to different work stations depending of the needs and he is in charge of the supply and removal of packaging material and waste.
Coating table:
o The Operator Coating Table is responsible for putting a specific coating layer on the substrate material and monitors the whole coating process in order to guarantee the continuity of the production process.
Winding machine
o The Operator Winding Machine is in charge of the qualitative cutting of the vinyl rolls, based on the input of the inspection table and is responsible for the qualitative rolling up of the finished rolls in order to comply with the prescribed quality requirements
Packer
o The packer is responsible for the qualitative packaging and labeling of the finished rolls in order to protect the finished goods (against damage, pollution) and guarantee a clean and correct storage in the warehouse
Job Requirements:
o Minimum 2 years of experience in the operation of production machinery and monitoring products.
o High school diploma or GED
o The knowledge of material, methods, tools and equipment
o The ability to follow oral and written instructions
o The ability to maintain proper attendance and punctuality standards
o The ability to maintain order and cleanliness
o The ability to work stress resistant and have an eye for detail
o Flexible for all shifts Ability to work 6a-6p or 6p-6a.
o Willing and able to stand on their feet for long periods of time
o Certificate for driving fork lift (pole) is a plus
o Ability to strictly comply with safety rules
Pay Rate $11.50 per hour.
