A hospital in Connecticut is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a promising position within their growing Intensive Care Unit (ICU). In this role, the Intensive Care Unit Nurse (ICU RN) will be responsible for performing a full range of tasks in providing nursing care to assigned patients. Other responsibilities include:
- Performing individualized nursing assessments for each assigned patient
- Developing and updating care plans utilizing established standards of care, which includes Physician prescribed therapies and common nursing measures derived from disease related / therapy / personal needs
- Organizing and coordinating patient care
- Collaborating with staff to implement patient care plan
- Participating in staff/patient care conferences
- Assisting in clinical education/orientation of other staff
- Guiding and supervising assigned personnel in the delivery of patient care
- Performing related duties, as required
