Job Description:

3M is seeking a Test Lab Technical Writer for the Safety and Graphics Business Group/3M Fall Protection Division located in Red Wing, MN. At 3M, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter. Here, you go.

Job Summary:

The Test Lab Technical Writer will be responsible for writing test reports and communicating results as well as testing schedules. The job will include data summarization, technical writing, and communication.

Primary Responsibilities included but are not limited to the following:

* Report writing including reviewing test data from test technicians, creating data sheets, test requests and technical test reports as well as working with the team to create efficient schedule and communication process.

* Document control including maintaining a document control system, creating new test report templates and maintaining lab Procedures and other documents.

* Assisting in product testing as needed.

* Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

* Associates/Two Year Technical degree from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associates/Two Year Technical degree in science, math or related field from an accredited institution

* Competent user of Microsoft Office products Word and Excel

* Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, team members and customers.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated creative skills

* Excellent written and oral communications skills

Location: Red Wing, MN

Travel: Up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation: Is not authorized
