What impact will you have as a Lead?

As the Lead you will oversee the operational activities at GLAS. You will supervise, train and coach baristas to master the art of customer service, impart professional development, and coach the development of their craft. You work with the GLAS manager to determine accurate levels of food/beverage inventory and quality, create menu items, coffeehouse activities and budget monitoring. In addition, you assist in team creation by participating in the interviewing and hiring process. You will work to build a welcoming and appropriate environment for customers.

And finally, you will play a significant role in improving the coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to give to job accomplishments.

What is needed to join our team?

  • High school diploma or educational equivalent required
  • Two to three years of food service operation management preferred
  • Experience in a coffee house environment preferred

GLAS, the green coffeehouse, is a venture for Cellcom. The coffeehouses are adjacent to various Cellcom locations and serve as a community gathering space with excellent coffee, extraordinary customer service, with an excellent dedication to the environment.

GLAS, the green coffeehouse, is a place where you can connect with family, friends and your community. This experience is highlighted by what can only be described as a rare cup of coffee.

  • We purchase green coffee beans and roast them in-house at our Glas roastery to ensure the highest quality coffee is being served to our customers.
  • We sample, select, and responsibly procure high-quality flavors. Our importer works directly with the farmers through direct trade, which means we have more control over the quality of the coffee and are ethically supporting the farmers who grow and process our beans.
