POSITION: PAINTER PREP – Cabinets Higher End Furniture
LOCATION: Long Beach, CA
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Temp and Temp to Hire
SCHEDULE: Typical work schedule is first shift, Monday-Saturday, 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed
PAY RATE: $12-16 Depending on Experience
JOB DESCRIPTION: PrideStaff is assisting a large, rapidly growing company in locating individuals experienced in Painter Prep work for high end cabinets and furniture. The company designs, fabricates and installs cabinets, furniture and interiors for major organizations. The right candidates will be experienced in Painting Prep with basic knowledge of paint processes such as sanding, masking, setup and clean up. Painting will consist of all types of wood products and furniture. Safety and attention to details are most important. All workers will start as PrideStaff Temp Associates. The company is looking to hire good workers with the right experience, who consistently prove themselves over several weeks with great work ethics and skills.
REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Applicants Must:
--- Be able to read and interpret shop drawings
--- Have at least 1 year of recent experience with Painting Preparation
--- Be experienced painting high end furniture and mixing stains to match
--- Have great attendance and work ethics
--- Learn quickly and work well with others
--- Provide at least 3 professional references
--- Be able to pass a background check and drug screen
