Marathon Petroleum Company is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to complete inspections, perform scheduled maintenance, and make any necessary repairs to Marathon's corporate jets to ensure aircraft is operating at the highest aviation standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Maintain and troubleshoot airframe, engine, electrical, and avionics systems.

* Perform line maintenance to include tugging and fueling of aircraft.

* Perform service bulletins; inspect and test avionic and communication equipment; perform repairs within limitations of testing equipment and supplies; and arrange for major avionic repairs and or modifications.

* Complete entries in aircraft logs certifying repair, parts and equipment installation.

* Maintain test and bench equipment; and operate testing equipment.

* Perform general electronic and electrical repair to Company aircraft; and assist aircraft technicians in various types of aircraft maintenance, while holding a FAA Aircraft and Power Plant License.

* Confer with Company pilots on operating conditions of aircraft and coordinate repair time with operational schedules.

* Keep familiar with appropriate maintenance directives, bulletins and procedures; and prepares required reports and records.

* Attend aircraft, engine, and avionics training as assigned.

* Assume other potential Aviation assignments such as (but not limited to); overseeing hangar facilities maintenance, fuel farm maintenance, conducting maintenance audits, and participating in industry forums; as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

* Adhere to directions contained in flight operations-related manuals and related procedures.

* Participate proactively in the safety management system by:

* Actively identifying, reporting and mitigating hazards and safety-risk management deficiencies;

* Providing timely input to management to ensure that the company's safety-risk profile is accurate and up-to-date; and

* When appropriate, applying hazard checklists to make sound pre-flight and in-flight decisions.

Qualifications:

* FAA licensed Airframe and Power plant technician

* Duties will include inspecting, troubleshooting, repair of airframe and engine systems, electrical/avionic troubleshooting and repair. General aircraft line service (tugging fueling and cleaning). Will require flexible working hours weekends and holidays and limited travel.
