Job Description
The Resort Manager is responsible for the oversight of the Activities, Housekeeping, Front Office, Bell Staff and Security departments to ensure efficient, cost effective and quality services are provided to guests for a positive experience in the hotel.
Resort Manager Responsibilities:
* Participate in total hotel management as a member of the hotel Executive Committee.
* Responsible for the development and training of other leaders within designated departments
* Coaches, counsels, and disciplines associates as needed and effectively recommends suspension, and/or termination
* Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
* Maintain labor costs within budgets as directed by the financial budget of the hotel and department.
* Communicates daily with other Resort division management on activities, goals, objectives, variances of the Guest Service Department.
* Complete responsibility for all Risk Management policies, procedures, goals and objectives to include guest/employee safety and health, protection of all hotel and guest property, and all relevant legislated requirements.
* Implement company programs and manage the operations of the division in a manner consistent with federal, state and local laws and regulations and the Company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
* Enforce to hotel safety standards.
Requirements
* Education: Bachelor Degree Required.
* Experience: Four to six years experience in Front Office/Housekeeping/Guest Services, including at least four years supervisory experience, required.
* Previous Executive Committee and Resort Hospitality Required
* Vacation Ownership experience is preferred.
