Senior Machinist

This is an excellent 1st shift direct hire opportunity. One of our top clients is looking for a well-rounded Senior Machinist to assist the 1st shift team. My client has incredibly low turnover and recently has made amazing strides in improving the working environment with a new remodel, including a great cafeteria. This position will pay up to $64,000 based on skill set and experience.

Senior Machinist Responsibilities:

• Programing and running CNC machines, mills, drills, lathes, saws, and drill presses.
• Setup and run manual machines to produce parts, dies, molds, and fixtures.
• Maintenance of machines and sharpen tools.
• Reading and interpreting complex prints, draws sketches, corrects prints, designs step-by-step work processes.
• Completion of documentation (process and load sheets)
• Supporting engineering in creating Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and criteria
• Recommending and implementing solutions within designated area of responsibility
• Technical troubleshooting of process, equipment, and product.

Senior Machinist Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Leadership qualities and experience
• 2 year degree or certification preferred.
• 5+ years machining experience
