The knowledge of a great Concierge is the expectation of our Guests when staying at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your ability to anticipate Guests' needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay.
Hotel Overview: The Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge, ideally located in Mountain Village, offers much more than a Telluride resort experience - it provides luxury living in the heart of one of the world's most sought-after destinations. Telluride has long been hailed a top ski destination, but with festivals all summer long and a myriad of outdoor activities, this unique city is a year-round vacationer's delight. Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge is just steps from the gondola, ski mountain, golf course, and many other outdoor activities.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manger, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
* Provide exceptional Concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, confirmations and other available services
* Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure loyalty
* Develop and maintain contacts with business partners, concessionaires, local community and vendors throughout Fairmont Hotels & Resorts
* Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
* Address guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments
* Performs bartending functions
* Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
* Follow all safety policies
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Previous customer service related experience preferred
* Previous Property Management System experience preferred
* Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
* University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
* Must legally be able to perform bartending functions
* Must possess a professional presentation
* Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
* Highly responsible & reliable
* Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
* Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Qualifications
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
* Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
* Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
* Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
