The Background Screening Services Processor is mainly responsible for tracking, resolving and escalating issues during the pre-hire screening processes. In addition, will be responsible for communicating to Talent Acquisitions, operations and clients any required results status’ as outlined by contract or procedure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• May assist Talent Acquisitions in initiating criminal background checks, driving record information, SSN verifications, OIG and Sexual Offender Registry searches and drug screenings.
• Tracks background screening results and resolves or escalates concerns for quick resolution
• Researches status of background checks delayed in the ATS
• Ensures required backgrounds screenings are administered by Towne Park standards or addition client contracted standards
• Communicates to stakeholders the standing of the screenings including Clearance Letters to the client, if required
• Stores screening results in accordance with Towne Park standards to ensure complete record keeping for each associates and being audit ready
• Assists, as needed, in post hire or recurring screenings and client communications

Systems and Standards
  • Maintains a clean, neat work environment
  • Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Manager, Background Screening Services
  • Cooperates with senior management and coworkers to ensure that services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of internal and external customers
  • Treats clients and associates with courtesy, respect and dignity
  • Interfaces with talent acquisitions, management and technology support personnel, as needed
  • Identifies current or potential problems with reports, analyzes the impact to financial data, and proposes solutions

    Safety and Risk Management
  • Understands and follows safety and security procedures
  • Practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by Towne Park
  • Reports all accidents and incidents to the Manager, Background Screening Services immediately
  • Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner
  • Reports all potential high risk areas and safety concerns to the Manager, Background Screening Services

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), the internet and various ATS and HRIS applications
  • Ability to work independently to effectively plan and set priorities to accomplish required tasks
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, instruction guides, and training materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively address all levels in the organization
  • Ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of settings with a demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion

    QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED AND at least two (2) years of administrative experience
  • Previous experience with multi-site, multi-state, multi-functional organizations
  • Experience with Workday software, First Advantage and SterlingONE.
