About this job

The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining automation solutions (PLC's, Robots, VFD's, CNC benders, welders, etc.).
* maintain existing automation, designs, and PLCs; identify areas for improvement and present solutions to management accordingly
*Program, specify, trouble shoot, PLCs, VFDs, etc.
*Work from blueprints, sketches or computer-aided design (CAD), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) files
*Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications; test designs to ensure they meet specifications
*Analyze project requirements including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls
*Participate in projects related to new automation equipment and repairs of existing equipment
*Coordinate and participate in manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements

Qualifications:

-5+ years' of Controls/ Automation manufacturing background

-Demonstrated knowledge of Allen Bradley- (troubleshoot, edit/modify, and program PLCs)

-Ability to demonstrate type of operation/equipment and describe impact on automation

-Robotics experience is a big plus
