FULL-TIME ENTERTAINMENT SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is seeking an organized and resourceful individual to join the Entertainment Team. This individual will be required to drive projects and special events through planning, implementation and tracking expenses of those projects which have a beginning, and end and specified deliverables. Work closely with Senior Leadership to define the scope of projects/events while overseeing the daily operation of the Entertainment Department.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
* Create detailed work plans which identifies and prioritizing activities to complete the project/event
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Entertainment team, other departments for support and contractors to effectively coordinate resources for project completion
* Ensures the scope and direction of projects/events are on schedule
* Monitor the progress of projects/events and make adjustments as needed for the successful completion of the project
* Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the progress of the project/event
* Track invoices related to Capital contracts. Responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliations of Capital expenditures to budget
* Assist Manager with monthly forecasting and budgeting by providing detail expense forecast and date related to projects/events
* Work closely with Purchasing and Finance to ensure vendors are paid timely on capital and other projects
* Enter capital requisitions into systems, ensuring proper internal controls are followed
* Maintain and monitor expenditures for every project/event to ensure project stays on budget
* Responsible for the daily operation of Entertainment Department shows and special events
* Assist in strategic development and planning of entertainment product
* Coordinates the selection and training of the Entertainment team
* Reviews and monitors the scheduling and work records of the team to deliver superior results while maintaining budgeted labor
* Develops and adheres to safe work practices and policies that further the safety culture of the department and park

REPORTS TO: Entertainment Manager

PREFERRED IN IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* HS diploma required. Theater Education (BA) or (BFA) or equivalent experience preferred
* Previous experience in the Entertainment/Theme Park Industry; supervisory experience preferred
* Strong motivational and team building skills with a strong ability to multi-task
* Strong verbal, written communication skills with experience in Microsoft Office Applications
* Clear demonstration of leadership ability. Must be able to select and manage a diverse team and develop a high performing team
* Strong project management, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
* Must have a thorough understanding of the entertainment production process
* Ability to work a variety of hours or shift, including weekends and evenings
* Willingness to cross train for other operational departments and assist same during specific key periods
* Must have a Valid State Driver's License
* Ensure compliance w/ standard operating procedures, park policies, and regulations
