Controls and Industrial Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently supporting a company on-site with Volvo's "Body In White" Facility. Below are some of the tasks for the job description:

Controls Engineer:

Design and programming of Scada, PLC and PC based installations.
Testing + start-up of installations
Writing manuals + giving training to the end customers

Mechanical/ Industrial Engineer: (Secret Clearance)

Job Description:

Aerotek is current seeking an Industrial Engineer from either a manufacturing or logistics environment. Below is the job description:

Experience with Creo Pro-Cable Design
Drive progress in manufacturing performance through implementation of sound continuous improvement strategies
Utilize knowledge of production machines to identify wear parts
Develop local suppliers for wear parts; source parts and verify parts quality and dimensional accuracy.
Create, monitor and maintain system to track wear parts usage, lead time; manage wear parts inventory and establish replenishment process.
Create performance reports in Excel and other computer programs.
Optimize processes in manufacturing operations in-line with sister plant in Germany.
Lead and support capital investment projects in the plant.
Observe and follow all general and departmental safety rules and regulations and complete all required annual safety and environmental training.
Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or other lab management.

Work Environment: manufacturing environment Qualifications: Qualifications:
+5 years of engineering experience within manufacturing or logistics environment
5 years of time studies experience
Ability to utilize AutoCAD for simple drawings
Bachelors Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
Lean or 5S experience
