Sample Store Associate - Full-time

The Sample Store Associate is responsible for stocking and pricing merchandise in the Sample Store. This position also operates a cash register to process customer purchases.

• Processes customer transactions accurately and efficiently by operating a register, receiving and counting money
• Stocks and moves all store merchandise by lifting, carrying, moving, pricing and placing on shelves or fixtures
• Responds to all customer questions regarding merchandise and availability
• Maintains store standards of Customer Service, Presentation, Ready All Day and Cleanliness
• Performs required steps to support efficient drop box auction process to sell highly-valued merchandise
• Monitors sell through of samples and liquidates merchandise, as necessary
• Follows applicable laws, regulations and Company policies
• Performs other duties as assigned

* High school diploma, or equivalent
* Previous retail experience; 6 months preferred
* Reliable transportation to accommodate immediate or advance notice of presence
* Strong communication skills with the ability to read and write the English language
* Basic mathematical skills; ability to use a calculator
* Ability to use and operate basic functions of a computer
* Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
