Intern

The Floor and Decor Summer Internship Program is an exciting opportunity for college students who would like to gain meaningful hands on experience in a corporate retail environment. The 10-week summer program focuses on multiple facets of departments across the organization. Intern's placement within each department will be dependent upon major and availability within the department. The internship will be based in our corporate office in Smyrna, Georgia. Interns will get an opportunity to gain valuable business experience and participate in other planned networking events throughout the summer.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Full-time student working towards a Bachelor's degree in applicable field; preferred candidates will be entering Junior or Senior year
• Experience with problem-solving and team building skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Have ability to work full-time and for the duration of the 10-week summer program

W orking Conditions (travel, environment)

• Limited travel including air and car travel
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
