Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic:

-2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 3:00 AM (M-TH). Occasionally will come in on a Friday or Saturday for preventative maintenance work. If they do PM work on a Friday those hours are 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

-Preform set ups for fillers, cappers, labeling, sealers, case packers, and case erector machinery

-By "Set-Ups" they are going to change the setting so that the same machines can fill a gallon container, instead of a 16 oz container, for example

-They will get with an area manager to know what type of product and what volume they're running at. All set-ups needs to be done before production starts at 6 AM (1st shift) and 4:00 PM (2nd shift)

-The candidate will be stationed in one of the production areas and ensure that all of the machinery is working properly for that respective order

-Perform preventative maintenance

-Troubleshooting of machinery is a huge component of the job, if a label is going on crooked, they will need to diagnose the issue, and troubleshoot the machine

-The bulk of their machinery is hydraulic and electrical

-Will also interact with PLCs occasionally
