Maintenance Electrician / Controls Technician

There are 4 openings currently in the North Plant.
2 on 2nd Shift - 2:40PM - 11:00 PM
2 on 3rd Shift - 10:40PM - 7:00 AM
They are working an alternating shift, 5 days one week and then 7 days the next week.


Our contractors will be working on automated robotic machines, plastic mold injection machines and press machines. The machine brands they will be working on include, Milacron, Niagra, Teda, Minister, Eagle, and HPM machines. Types of work on the machines will be editing and troubleshooting the PLC's using input and outputs, fixing and replacing hydraulics, pneumatic, sensors, cables, running wire, coils, pulleys and conveyor belt parts. They may also be asked to jump in and handle preventative maintenance on occasion. The Allen Bradley PLC versions they will be working with are the ABB 5, Slick 500, 5000 and compact logix.

Other parts of the job will be working on Hydraulic schematics by using a blueprint. They use Allen Bradley controls in the plant as well as using HMI with the PLC. This job will consist of 75% of electrical work and 25% mechanical work. There are a total of 80 machines in the plant that the team of 13 maintenance people will be in charge of. A person with a journeyman card would be a huge plus, but is not at all a must.
