General Laborer

You will be responsible for the daily operations within warehousing, packaging and any other seasonal activities where help is needed.
You will work in a pleasant company atmosphere with direct communication to all levels and room for social contacts. You are encouraged to take initiative and there will be lots of opportunities for self-development.

Responsibilities:
* Knowledge of tower, treating, and bagging operations.
* Ability to run pieces of equipment in our conditioning, treating, and bagging processes.
* Basic mechanical ability/understanding of equipment maintenance.
* Understand and enforce all QMS procedures, protocols, and safe practices
* Process SAP transactions, goods receipts, requisitions and issues
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Actively seek out training to increase your working knowledge of SAP
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
* Work well independently and in a team environment as a mature professional with a positive attitude
* Specific tasks may involve: Tower activities and checks, packaging activities, Inventory, Retag, Returns, Seedpak washing/repairs, pallet repair, product sampling, general housekeeping, outbound load staging, and miscellaneous painting.

Required skills/experience:
* SAP experience a plus
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to read and write in English
* Ability to read and interpret documents
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
* Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
* Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs multiple times per day.
* Computer skills are preferred
* Flexibility of shift work. 2nd or 3rd shift may be possible

-Shifts could be 8 hour shifts, 10 hour shifts, or 12 hour shifts. For 8 hour shifts, those times are 7a-3:45p (first shift), 3p-11:45p (second shift), and 11p-7:45a (3rd shift).

We are currently in harvest operations now which means the employee could be assigned a variety of tasks, some of which are already detailed in the description. There are tasks that are inside and outside during this time but operations will be focused on a production/packaging line and warehouse operation.

Hi-vis will likely be required but we will provide a vest if they dont have hi-vis shirts. Long pants are also a requirement and there are some jobs that will require long sleeved shirts.

These workers will be both inside and outside.

Site provided - Hardhat, safety glasses are required and provided throughout the facility as well as hearing protection in designated areas.
