Home Instead Senior Care is now hiring caring and dedicated individuals to join us in our mission of enhance the lives of aging adults in our community! Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their own homes and to meet the challenges of aging with dignity, respect and compassion.
CAREGiver job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Provide transportation and help run errands
- Assist with ambulation and safe transfers
- Provide Alzheimer’s / Dementia Care
- Personal cares such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to engage with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 80 pounds infrequently
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Reliable vehicle with auto insurance and current Driver's License
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
