* Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements
* Prepare and present accurate, well supported financial analysis and reports
* Prepare detailed account reconciliations and post accurate journal entries into the financial systems
* Ensure results are fairly stated in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
* Adhere to an enhance internal financial controls
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
To qualify for an internship with Foot Locker, Inc., individuals must:
* Be a junior or senior in college, or a spring 2018 graduate in accounting/finance
* Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary
* Schedule according to the following business hours: Summer internship hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours/week). Internships begin on June 5, 2018 - August 18, 2018. Any exceptions will dealt with on a case by case basis.
* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Detail oriented
* Proficient in MicroSoft Word and Excel
* Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
* Demonstrated experience working independently
* Experience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus
