Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Help build and execute the optimum Range Architecture across all product categories and US distribution channels in line with Global guidelines and brand health KPI's

Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with US Category Merchandising and CtC Assortment and Ranging (Merchandising) teams to define the optimal range size focused on article efficiency (total, per category, per channel, per price bands, per gender, per franchise and key concepts etc) for the US market.

* Leverage ABC analysis to drive strategic range planning across US merchandising teams, and reduce product overlaps to ensure a consistent, premium brand footprint across DTC and wholesale channels.

* Support on identifying and application of SMU targets with the BU's and Ctc teams

* Analyze, Track and execute the planned seasonal article targets to achieve KPI's with a focus on driving range size and efficiency to meet 2020 SBP.

* Lead seasonal cross category range reviews, including competitive market analysis, and performance at sell in and sell through. Drive to recommendations and alignment with cross functional partners on articles which can be dropped prior to go to market.

* Collaborate with Global CtC and provide US market range architecture inputs back to global teams to influence long term range planning and creation.

* Collaborate with CtC Assortment and Ranging Manager (Merchandising) on space planning for top accounts as key input to validation of optimal range size per category.

* Understand range needs from all key accounts within relevant channels of distribution in wholesale and DTC, and their impact on total range size.

* Conduct relevant reporting activities to measure the efficiency and commercial success of the range season over season

* Collaborate with Demand Planning team and other key business partners on ad hoc projects related to ranging decisions.

* Understand the US consumer retail environment including distribution points, market share, competitor ranges and pricing strategies by leveraging available tools (NPD, GPMT).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Structured, organized and process orientated

* Previous experience in Category Management or Merchandising/ Ranging/ SMU / Sales / planning

* Strong business acumen, ability to assume a broader perspective (cross-markets/ global)

* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure

* Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office

* Familiarity with NPD / GPMT a plus

* Fluent in English

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

* University degree in business preferred, ideally with marketing / merchandising or sales focus or equivalent professional experience

* Category Management/ Ranging/ Merchandising Experience or Retail buying / sales: 3 years
