*Seeking someone with auto parts experience or has worked in an auto parts store. Job Purpose/Mandate:

To assist parts manager in daily parts control. Provide a level of service to customers and service department , equal to and at the same level of service that our customers expect. Specific duties and responsibilities:

Applicant must have good customer service skills with internal and external customers . Answer phones and take messages, be able to fill orders and stock parts based on orders and inventory received. Keep parts and associated areas clean and organized . Deliver parts to customers. Ship parts. File. Paperwork. Applicant must be able to work well in a team environment , be an out of a box thinker in a fast paced, growing company always looking for better ways to serve our customers . Education and experience requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Some computer experience a must. Past experience with parts a plus. Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driver's record. Working Conditions :

Some office/desk work with a mix of warehouse and shop time working with parts

Tasks
  • Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
  • Fill customer orders from stock and place orders when requested items are out of stock.
  • Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
  • Prepare sales slips or sales contracts.
