Formulation Chemist I

Aerotek is working to identify a Formulations Chemist I for one of our clients in the Mobile, AL area. Must have at least one year of experience within laboratory, instrumentation, chemical.Preferred to have a related Chemistry degree. • Provides laboratory support for operations units, process chemistry, R&D and Quality efforts at the plant.
• Working under the direction of senior lab staff, performs routine testing/physical characterization; e.g., sample analyses by GC and HPLC, pH and density measurements, sieve and titrimetric analyses. Records and reports results in a timely manner as directed.
• Conducts work safely. Other assignments as necessary and directed by lab management.
• Complies with all regulatory safety requirements.
• Complies with all regulatory environmental requirements.
• Complies with all company policies, practices and lawful directives.
