About this job

Key Role:

Support fleet experimentation at Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC), working as a senior experimentation planner supporting Navy warfighting capability development. Lead experimentation planning teams in the design, execution, analysis, and reporting of fleet experiments exploring innovative naval concepts and technologies. Assist the government experiment lead by coordinating the design of experiments through the development of multiple experimentation plan products, including experiment baseline assessments, data collection and analysis plans (DCAPs), engineering plans, control plans, and manning plans. Assist the experiment lead with carrying out the experiment plan during experiment execution. Keep the experiment lead apprised of data collection progress and recommend necessary modifications to the overall experiment execution plan to ensure all requirements of the DCAP are fulfilled. Coordinate the development of the Quicklook Report, the Analysis Summary Reference Document, the Final Experiment Report, and information papers and presentations that summarize experiment results, findings, and insights to support client briefings to NWDC and other Navy leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD or military experimentation, wargaming, modeling and simulation, or test and evaluation

-Experience as a Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO)

-Experience with multi-tactical data link interface operations

-Experience with military or government civil service

-Experience with Microsoft Office applications

-Ability to be detail-oriented

-Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time and embark Navy ships, submarines, and aircraft

-Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with naval operations at the operational and tactical level of war gained from experience in working with US Navy operating forces, including a numbered Fleet headquarters, Maritime Operations Center, carrier or expeditionary strike group staff, Navy tactical training group staff, or Warfighting Development Center

-Experience in maritime warfighting analysis and concepts or tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) development with specific experience in electromagnetic maneuver warfare, electronic warfare, cryptology, information warfare, maritime domain awareness, maritime dynamic targeting, national technical means (NTM) support to maritime operations, current maritime C4I architectures, intelligence tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED), and maritime supporting plans to Combatant Command operations plans in Central and Pacific Command areas of responsibility

-Possession of excellent writing skills

-Possession of excellent presentation skills

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Project Management Professional Certification
