POSITION SUMMARY:

The Fitness Center Operations Attendant is responsible for the member entry process, point of sale functions, information dissemination, incoming telephone calls, and completing all cleaning assignments in a timely manner. Attendant is expected to provide the highest quality service standards, exhibit excellent customer service skills, and to greet all members and guest entering the LifeStyles Fitness Center.

EDUCATION:

High school graduate or the equivalent. Customer service and/or housekeeping service experience. Ability to multi-task and work rapidly to meet deadlines. Ability to work variable hours required. Basic computer proficiency required.

EXPERIENCE:
Font desk customer service experience in a health and fitness center.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Current BLS. Effective group process skills. Effective oral and written communication skills to express ideas clearly. Effective listening skills. Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to function competently in stressful situations and the changing work environment related to changing client needs. Ability to work cooperatively with clients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members. Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergency situations. Ability to use effective analytical and critical thinking skills to problem-solve.
