* Plan, organize and oversee the treatment of patients referred to a particular unit of physical therapy and occupational therapy.

* Hire, orient, supervise, evaluate, promote and coach the therapy staff assigned to the supervisor's particular unit.

* Establish unit objectives and patient programs and monitor their effectiveness and quality.

* To evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders and disability, to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician.

* This position involves 25% patient care and 75% supervision of therapists.

Required Qualifications*

* Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Demonstrated proficiency in strong leadership skills and program development.

* Possession of a current state license to practice therapy in Michigan.

* Clinical experience/interest in the specialty areas of cancer rehab, geriatrics, general rehab and orthopedics

* 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership responsibility

* Program development experience

* Excellent verbal and written communication

* Good Organizational Skills

* Ability to work collaboratively
