Automation Personnel Services, Inc. In West Houston is seeking qualified candidates for a General Labor position that we have available.
Compensation: Pay Rate Depending on Experience $12 - $13 an hour
Shift: Monday - Thursday 8: 00 AM- 4: 30 PM: Some Fridays
Temp-to-Hire Position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment.
-Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
-Operate industrial power equipment and restocks supplies when appropriate
-Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
-Perform general warehouse/production/assembly service duties.
-Fill in for other positions as needed and able to follow detailed instructions.
-Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
-Must wear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and able to periodically bend, kneel, and lift up to 50+ pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Time Management skills
- Safety minded
- Goal Oriented
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma/GED
- 2+ years General Laborer experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
