Embedded Linux Software Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently looking to seeking a Software Engineer for our clients team in Louisville for a direct opening. The company is a growing company that is looking to expand.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years embedded Linux development
• 3-5 years experience with C++ programming language
• Experience with a build system such as Yocto, Buildroot or Open embedded
• Technical degree preferred but not required

This person must have extensive C++ development for application level software on embedded Linux.

Responsibilities:

• Work in an agile software development environment to ensure the quality of architecture and design of product features and capabilities
• Participate in Scrum work environment to effectively manage product development and
• Troubleshoot code defects to new and existing hardware and software applications
• Research new tools and technologies for use within the team
• Assist in the troubleshooting of code defects and deploy timely fixes
• Collaborate with peers, vendors and clients to manage to a high standard and guarantee customer issues are resolved
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's robust product portfolio, both hardware & software
• Build data entry systems and reporting software using source code
