We are working with a large financial services company, that is looking to hire a team of professional, and courteous financial service representatives. Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in any field OR 1-3 years of experience in a service related role in the Finance or Insurance industries is preferred but not required
  • Professional, and personable
  • Ability to effectively utilize all applications MS Office

Job Description:

  • Provides quality customer service and support to customers on a daily basis, including phone interaction, problem resolution and account transaction processing in a timely manner.
  • Under direct supervision, performs less complex operational tasks in a product or functional area, including processing, balancing, settling and servicing all types of security transactions. -Responds to customer inquiries. Investigates and corrects errors in customer accounts and statements.
  • Responds to customer verbal and/or written inquiries.
  • Records details about customer inquiries.
  • Helps resolve complicated customer complaints. -Coordinates and expedites customer inquiries to other departments for resolution.
  • Providing customer service on mutual funds. -Taking calls from shareholders, customers, and reps/brokers.
  • Taking 40-50 calls per day. Average call time is 5 minutes but could run as long as 15. The nature of the calls can be anything from password resets to reallocating funds within the account to linking their account to an existing checking/savings account with another bank.
  • The focus is on quality, not quantity. This is not a "high volume" call center.
