Parts Counter Rep - Full-time / Part-time

Also known as a Customer Service Rep or Order Entry Specialist


Description
Parts Counter Sales Representatives are responsible for front-line customer service in a variety of parts ordering functions. Responsibilities include assisting customers (80% phone, 20% at front counter), taking parts orders, researching technical data for the correct part or parts and data entry.

Essential Duties
- Once Permanent - Must be available to be on call after hours on a rotating basis
- Greet all customers and answer phones in a polite and timely fashion. -Customer Service attitude is the #1 attribute in this role.
- Utilize formatted phone script when answering calls
- Process Customer and Shop orders, back-orders, credits and quotes
- Look up parts via supplied computer programs for CAT and other brands we service. Person will be trained on these programs.
- Once permanent they will handle cash and credit payments and returns per procedures
- Resolve customer issues or concerns as necessary
- Perform related duties as assigned

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7am-530pm, with occasional Saturday morning hours 7am-12pm

Monday - Friday and 40hrs max
