Responsibilities:

The Service Consultant will be responsible for a broad range of administrative and sales support duties associated with supporting field sales representatives within Contract Sales that includes but not limited to maintaining customer satisfaction by resolving customer issues, inventory/replenishment, attending vendor events, order entry, customer training and troubleshooting customer service requests from clients.

  • Respond to account service needs which cannot be resolved over the telephone and do not constitute the core selling responsibilities of the Field Sales rep.
  • Resolve issues to the customer s satisfaction through experience and utilization of available resources
  • Customer Training
  • Assist Field Sales rep. in providing initial and ongoing account support, including: distribute catalogs and requisition forms, provide end-user catalog training, develop invoices when necessary, inventory and coordinate the replenishment of BSD catalogs and appropriate marketing materials at the customer location
  • Attending vendor events
  • Generate reports, account maintenance, order tracking. Research on back orders, missing orders, and discontinued products

Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent related work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years Customer Service, Sales Support experience and or Business Administration
