Role Responsibilities
- Effectively handle and resolve customer calls in a high call center volume environment
- Respond to various health care payer issues including but not limited to claims, enrollment and billing
- Enter various data and information into Blue Cross Blue Shield systems in real time (eg Blue Link, Salesforce, Facets)
- Work effectively and collaboratively with other team members in pursuit of customer satisfaction
- Expedite and elevate customer calls and issues as appropriate
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to interact with customers and Management
- Previous experience in a high call center or high customer contact environment
- Knowledge of or ability to learn HIPPA laws and regulations
- Knowledge of or experience with SalesForce or Facets
- Proven previous experience in providing excellent customer service
Preferences
- Any college coursework is a plus
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Knowledge of HIPPA laws and regulations
- Knowledge of Facets applications
