Job DescriptionThis position is dealing with customer service for a Pharmacy Benefits company. In this position you will be responsible for the following:
  • Taking inbound calls regarding pharmacy inquiries
  • Assisting company members with benefit information and updating
  • Communicate with Doctors and Pharmacists regarding Prior Authorization
  • Set up the primary steps for Prior Authorization to be established
  • Document all calls and interactions when on the job
  • Update client and member information
  • Establish copay amounts based on benefits
  • Assist with prescription information
  • Advise on what medication can be administered based on the individuals benefit coverage
  • Communicating with various departments to provide status updates on member processes
  • Abide to all performance metrics and adhere to attendance policies
The company is looking for potential employees that are trying to establish a career with the company. This is a 6 month Contract to Hire position and provides at least a 40 hr work week. The company does provide 4-5 weeks of training in a classroom setting and administers tests based on the information gone over in training.Shift:The company is open 7 days a week from 8am - 11pm. Potential employees must be able to work any 8hr shift during operation hours on any day of the week.Qualities for Consideration:
  • Medical/Healthcare/Pharmacy Background
  • 1-2 years of call center experience
  • Ability to handle large amounts of technical knowledge and apply it on a daily basis
  • Experience/Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
Pay Rate:$15/hr (Pay increase if nationally certified)
