About this job
The incumbent works as a Linen Distribution Clerk within the Environmental and Management Service (EMS). Performs a variety of duties shipping/receiving linens and textiles. Also performs a variety of custodial and janitorial work. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Collecting and shipping soiled linen, loading clean linen carts for using areas and delivering linen to using areas.
- Creating and maintaining par levels for linen in using areas.
- Maintaining accurate and updated records of inventories, mileage logs, fare wear and tear records and sanitation records.
- Operating various types of equipment and vehicles.
- Standard cleaning and sanitizing duties.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
