CNA - Full-time

Responsible for providing direct care and services to the resident and promoting optimal quality of life.

1. Assisting residents with activities of daily living as required, including but not limited to : personal hygiene, dressing, skin care, mobility, toileting, and nutritional support.*

1. Responding to call bells and alarms\alerts (ex: chair alarm)

1. Providing nourishment and hydration to residents and documenting.

1. Providing psychosocial support, including transport to activities and appointments within the facility, providing for privacy and confidentiality needs, etc.*

1. Ensuring a safe environment, including but not limited to: maintaining cleanliness, observing principles of accident prevention, and observing appropriate safety guidelines: HAZCOM, Universal Precautions.*

1. Observing and reporting to the professional nurse any changes in resident's physical or mental status.*

1. Completion of required documentation (log books, Care Cards, sign in sheets, etc.)*

1. Communication responsibility (interstaff and administrative)*
