Join a team of elite individuals who have a passion for fixing cars and helping technicians meet their customer's expectations.  Position Location: Smyrna, Tennessee, just 30 minutes SE of Nashville The Middle Tennessee area has lots to offer: NO state income tax, Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators, live music venues, top restaurants, breweries, wineries, distilleries, ½ day drive from the Great Smoky Mountains, and much more.  Position summary: Automotive Technical Specialist with the Nissan and Infiniti TECH LINE: This position assists Nissan and Infiniti dealer technicians in the U.S. and Canada with vehicle diagnosis and repair.  Job Description: Answer technical requests from Nissan and Infiniti Dealers, via email and telephone, to assist with the diagnosis and repair of customer vehicles. Collect information and write brief reports to document repairs. Perform searches for similar incidents and discuss diagnostics with other team members, engineers and field staff.  Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and repair of cars and light trucks using electronic service manuals and laptop based scan tools. Ability to type at a reasonable speed. Prefer current ASE Master Technician (A1 through A8), and current L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist certification. Formal technical training in a Vocational or Trade School a plus. Three or more years of "hands-on" experience in retail automotive repair shop or new car dealership required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other PC applications.
