Kelly Services is currently seeking a Plant/Maintenance Engineering Technician for one of our top clients in Gurabo, PR Plant/Maintenance Engineering Technician Job Summary: Under the direction of the Engineering and Maintenance Group,  provides technical direction to Maintenance Technicians I and II and performs the maintenance functions (preventive, corrective, predictive, and / or calibrations), repair and troubleshooting of all manufacturing equipment , utilities and / or facilities to ensure the efficient operation of such equipment. Responsibilities: Coordinates and / or performs preventive, corrective, predictive and / or calibration maintenance activities according to the established plan and assigns those tasks to technicians I and II, ensuring compliance with the execution of said maintenance in the time indicated manufacturing equipment, utilities and / or facilities. Document, reconcile, and / or review the technical documentation supporting the maintenance tasks performed and documented in the "Computerized Maintenance Management System" (CMMS) in accordance with established standard procedures. Provides technical assistance and training Technicians I and II in the different technologies to optimize the operation and maintenance of equipment. Provides support in the introduction of new products through technical support to the processes and technologies they apply. Execute the "troubleshooting" in the equipment / production systems, utilities and / or facilities, in areas of competence such as: Instrumentation and Electronics Industrial mechanics Electricity, Pneumatics and Hydraulics PLC and Computers Servo Motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Handle forklifts, "hand trucks," "pallet jacks", etc.). Electric / manual patecas and other equipment for transporting materials used in the batch manufacturing and / or handling of equipment / parts used for maintenance and / or "troubleshooting". Assists Technicians / Manufacturing Operators to perform set ups and / or "change over" of equipment / processes as required in compliance with written procedures and respective training. Generates the list of spare parts for equipment / production systems, utilities and / or facilities. Recommend quantities, and levels of highs and lows. Support the Event Investigation process by providing your technical knowledge for root cause identification as applicable. Repairs and modifies mechanical parts of the equipment / systems when the situation so requires in compliance with the corresponding procedures. Performs duties and duties of Maintenance Technician I and II when required. Designs and manufactures mechanical parts and electrical, electronic and pneumatic interface systems between machinery, when the situation requires it in compliance with the corresponding procedures. Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings to aid in the repair and / or modification of systems and equipment. Provides technical assistance and training of required personnel on new facilities and modifications of equipment and systems in designated areas. Supports the installation of manufacturing equipment and / or utilities, as assigned. It supports the selection of new equipment and systems to improve the operation of existing systems. Represents the technical group in the electrical and mechanical installations carried out by external contractors. Assists in the installation of electrical appliances, control equipment and wiring in alarm systems, lighting and electrical distribution of the plant under the supervision of an Engineer or certified personnel according to the scope of work and risks. Participates in internal inspections of facilities, occupational health and safety, and / or GMP as required. Requirements: Minimum one associate degree or technical certification in some technical field such as Electricity, Industrial Mechanics, Refrigeration and Electronics. Bachelor's Degree in Technologies such as Electricity, Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, Instrumentation, or combination of these is highly preferable. Have technical experience in Pharmaceutical Operations Plants Parenterales, Sterile, Aseptic Complexes and / or Insulator Systems. Must have at least five (5) years relevant experience in job description and requirements. Licensed in Electricity, Refrigeration or Electronics is recommended.
