Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Overview

 

General RV, one of the largest and most successful RV dealers in the nation, has immediate openings for RV Technicians.  As a technician, you will determine issues and repair RV's as needed.  There are 3 positions within our service department that can accommodate a variety of technical experience.  If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands and consider yourself mechanically and technically inclined then we want to hear from you.  This is an opportunity to build a career in a growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing new and used RV’s. General RV Technicians do not service the chassis or engines, only interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing.
• RV specific certifications will be provided by General RV, do NOT need to be ASE certified.
• Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and how the issue can be repaired.
• Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality.
• Inspect RV’s thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Prior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is highly desired.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner. 
• Reliable and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test
