We are actively seeking candidates for our Summer 2018 Team who are looking to take a break from the daily grind and step into the peaceful environment of one of the world's oldest national parks.

Our operation features 2 separate areas within the Park - Rim Village and Mazama Village. We have 3 dining facilities, 3 retail outlets, a campground, cabins, and lodge. We also offer daily boat tours for our guests.

Southern Oregon offers diverse recreational opportunities for your days off - we have deserts, rainforests, mountains, marshes, and the Pacific Ocean is only a few hours away. Of course, the gem of the entire region is Crater Lake!

Responsibilities

Summary:A Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing all functions of the Laundry department, including sorting, washing, drying, inspecting, folding, and re-sorting linens (including bedding, dining room supplies, rags, etc.) to ensure Company guest service standards are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Performs all duties with the ultimate goal of providing exemplary guest service.

-Maintains positive and professional communications with Laundry Supervisor and coworkers.

-Follows all instructions when using machines and chemicals to ensure safety and effectiveness.

-Ensures that all tasks are completed within given timeframes. Uses time wisely.

-Maintains positive and professional communications with other departments, Shuttle Drivers, and Warehouse Crew.

-Maintains a clean an organized workspace, with particular care given to those areas which are in guest view.

-Adheres to the written schedule; is on time and productive for each shift.

-Guides employee performance utilizing the How s It Going (HIG) form. Addresses employee performance through coaching, mentoring, or corrective action.

-Provides respectful feedback to the Laundry Supervisor to ensure any maintenance, safety, or supply needs are communicated in a timely manner.

-Performs all duties as instructed with consistency and accuracy.

-Adheres to Company uniform and appearance standards.

-Adheres to use of proper chemicals and equipment as recommended by manufacturer specifications and Laundry Supervisor.

-Monitors equipment and department conditions; reports any issues to Laundry Supervisor.

-Performs all duties in a safety conscious manner.

-Follows training on Blood Borne Pathogens; follows policies and procedures for any bodily fluid(s) clean up.

-Performs all duties with consideration of the Company s environmental commitment, especially as it pertains to water and chemical usage.

-Performs other duties as assigned with positivity and professionalism.

Supervisory Responsibilities:None.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience, Physical Demands:

-Prior experience in seasonal hospitality, especially National Park(s) highly preferred.

-Prior experience and working knowledge of industrial or hotel laundering highly preferred.

-First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

-Valid U. S. driver s license preferred.

-Physically able to: perform all duties in various weather (temperatures in the Laundry department can vary between 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit), walk/stand/bend/reach throughout the workday, repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy loaded laundry carts, assist with loading and unloading box truck for deliveries and drop-offs, repeatedly climb and descend stairs throughout workday, work with required chemicals.
