About this job

The mechanic works under the general direction of the shop supervisor and should have the ability to work independently and as a team member with focus on getting the job done right and on time.
The mechanic should possess the fundamental skill set associated with the title, (ability to do tune-ups, brakes, basic electrical diagnosis, and etc.). Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are desired.
The mechanic shall be responsible for maintaining and preforming necessary repairs on fleet vehicles, maintaining log of repairs and work performed on vehicles, performing general maintenance according to the company maintenance program.
This position requires Saturday and Sunday work. However, two weekdays of the candidate's choice may be substituted as time off.
This position also requires a valid Arkansas Driver's License with acceptable record and the candidate must pass a drug screen.
All hand tools shall be provided by the employer.
